Thank you for considering volunteering with Herefordshire Vision Links!

Volunteering with HVL will provide opportunities to work with a wide variety of people across all ages, cultures, backgrounds and degrees of vision impairment.

Volunteering can help with your CV, develop hidden or new skills, gives opportunity to engage in project work and can help with education, particularly qualifications in public service and professions allied to health care. It is sometimes possible to undertake a placement in connection with relevant degree/diploma programmes.

There is an opportunity for most people at HVL, and our volunteer co-ordinator Julie Johnson would be pleased to hear from you. All volunteers undergo an induction, training and orientation period with HVL, specific to the area of volunteering they are to undertake. Volunteers are fully and actively supported in their roles, and resonable expenses at a specified rate are payable.

For an informal, no-obligation chat about what we can offer you, and the commitment you can make to Herefordshire Vision Links, please contact Julie on 01432 353565 or email: . Julie works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
